The Ant Who Got Revenge

Trevor loves to torment ants. Antony the ant is tired of it and decides to get revenge. Can they overcome their anger and be friends?
This one is illustrated with watercolor and ink. My scanner didn't pick up the full range of color but, once again, you get the gist.

Doodles

Besides the few samples from my children's books, I've included some other random art samples. Most are doodles or from a college art course. They aren't the best quality photos since I took a picture of them with my phone, and some have been mistreated over the years, but...enjoy!

Fun with CHALK

Fun with INK

Fun with PENCIL.

THE BOY WITH THE MAGIC BUTTONS, children's picture book

There once was a boy with magic buttons. All was well until his favorite one broke: the one that can make him fly. Will Mama have the magic touch to fix it?

This one is with paper, also. Something about it is so incredibly fun!

SO YOU THINK YOU WANT AN ALLIGATOR?, Children's Picture Book

Billy thinks having a real pet alligator would be so fun until Mommy and Daddy explain the pitfalls of an alligator roaming the house.

I used construction paper to illustrate this one. It was time-consuming, neck-straining and oh-so-fun! I imagine Billy wanting other pets that just might not work out.

PEN VS CRAYON, Children's Picture Book

Pen and Crayon both think they make the best pictures.

I kept the illustrations simple and light with ink and crayon, easy for young eyes to take in. My 3 year old wants me to read this one to him every time he sees a drawing of Pen lying around (please excuse the poor quality of my scanner, though you get the gist).
